UFC Fight Night 47: Bader vs St. Preux Predictions- Kamikaze Overdrive MMA
Jon Jones has taken a massive chunk out of the Light Heavyweight ranks, including a win over the Ryan Bader, but the next series of challengers is rising. When the dust settles on the Jones, Cormier, Gustafsson title fracas there will be another contender waiting and it could be one of the two men headlining UFC Fight Night 47.
Ryan Bader has won 2 in a row and 5 of his last 7. His only losses have come against the elite of the division and he has shown continued improvement during his current run. OSP has started his UFC career with 4 straight wins and has been defeated just once in the last 14 fights. The winner of this bout will most likely need another win, maybe two, to stake a claim to a title shot but they need to get this one in the books first.
Also on the main card, former title challenger Gray Maynard tries to right the ship when he meets new opponent and former TUF Champion Ross Pearson. Pearson is coming off of a disappointing and unjust decision defeat against Diego Sanchez, while Maynard was last see getting knocked out by long time rival Nate Diaz.
The rest of the televised portion of the event will include a Middleweight battle between Tim Boetsch and Brad Tavares. The debut of Welterweight Alan Jouban when he takes on Octagon veteran Seth Baczynski. A hard hitting Heavyweight scrap between Jack May and Shawn Jordan. With Robbie Peralta welcoming Thiago Tavares to the Featherweight division as the cards opening bout.
